Smoked Sausage, Green Peppers, and Onions Over Rice

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ Cups long Grained White Rice
  • 3 Cups Water
  • 12 oz Smoked Sausage Rope Sausage Sliced in Circles
  • 1 or 2 Medium Onion (Cut Julienne)
  • 1 or 2 Medium Green Bell Pepper (Cut Julienne)
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 Tbsp Mortons Nature's Seasoning

Instructions

  • Bring Water to Boil in Sauce Pan
  • Cut Sausage into thin circle slices
  • After Water is Boiling, Place Rice in Pot and Bring back to rolling boil for 1 Minute
  • Stir Rice, Place lid on Rice and reduce heat and cook for 20 min
  • In Frying Pan, place sausages into the pan and cook on medium high heat, stirring occasionally
  • When liquid Sausage is lightly brown add onion and green pepper, Stir, and place lid on pan and let cook for about 5 to six minutes
  • After Sausage and vegetable cook Lightly season with seasoning to taste
  • When 20 minutes is up on Rice, Remove lid, Fluff Rice adding butter and Sea Salt
  • Plate with Smoked Sausages and Vegetables Over the Rice
  • Enjoy!

Steak Cheese Fries

  • Air Fryer
  • Cast Iron Skillet

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Frozen Fries
  • 1 pound Black Angus Thin Sliced Beef for Carne Picada
  • 1 Medium Onion, Diced
  • 1 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 Cup Mild Cheddar Cheese Grated

Instructions

  • Place Beef in Cast Iron Skillet and Brown
  • While Beef is browning, Place Fries in Air Fryer on 400°F for 20 minutes, After first 10 minutes of cooking, shake basket of Fries to separate fries and finish cooking.
  • Check on Beef to ensure its not burning. When you see fat in the pan add onions and cook until all meat is fully browned, and onions are translucent.
  • After Ground Beef mixture is cook. Drain and season meat to taste with salt and pepper
  • Plate with Fries on the Bottom, spread 1/4 of Beef Mixture on top of Fries and spread the desired amount of cheese over it
  • Place plated food in Microwave for 30 seconds or until cheese is melted
  • Enjoy!
